I attended John Beck Elementary when I was in elementary school and continued on to Warwick Middle School. I went to Warwick High School and graduated in 1996. In high school I played field hockey, cheerleading, and track and participated in many extra curricular activities such as musicals, student council, etc. I continued my education at the University of Michigan. There I graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and played division one field hockey. I returned to Lititz and decided I wanted to become a teacher. I attended Millersville University to earn my teaching certificate and am happily employed at John Beck Elementary as a 6th grade teacher. In the summer of 2004, I earned a master's degree in Elementary Education. As well as a master's degree, I have taken tests to allow me the opportunity to be certified to teach middle school mathematics.
I enjoy all outdoor activities- hiking, boating, exercising, etc. One of my favorite outdoor places to go and relax is the beach. I love to watch my boys play in the water, take walks, and run on the beach. Sports also are a huge part of my life- I love watching football (Go Blue!), soccer, ice hockey, and baseball along with playing a variety of sports.
My husband, two boys and dog reside in the local area. We all enjoy spending time together and in spare time enjoy doing lawn work, playing sports, exercising and watching movies.
