Welcome to second grade! Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Mrs. Rebecca Heller and I have been teaching for thirty three years. It has been such a pleasure working with many different ages ranging from kindergarten to high school. My career began in Rota Spain where I taught in the DOD school on the Naval Base. Upon returning to the states I lived in Virginia and held positions teaching special education and third grade for four years. In 1995 when I started teaching at John Beck Elementary I was the Instructional Support Teacher, then I took a position as a Kindergarten teacher. After working with kindergarteners for six years I moved into first grade and taught that wonderful age for twenty years. Now, I am very excited to be teaching second grade! It is my hope that all my students have a positive experience which will provide them with a solid foundation and a love for learning.
