Hello! My name is Meredith Bailey and I am one of the Intervention Specialists at John R. Bonfield Elementary School. I have been working with children ages birth to high school and their families in various capacities since 2006. Most of this time has been in the classroom as a special education teacher working with elementary age students. Prior to moving into my current role, I worked with a local education-based non-profit serving families with children ages birth-4 while I also spent time at home with my two young children.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Education with a concentration in Learning Disabilites from Hope College in Holland, Michigan. I also have a Master of Education degree in Special Education with a concentration in Behavior Management from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. My professional interests include: social-emotional learning, family engagement, brain-based learning, and executive functioning.
My husband and I live in Lititz with our two children. We are a Bonfield family, and we love JRB!
