Miss Griffiths grew up in Pittsburgh and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry with a minor in mathematics and then obtained her teaching certificate and master's degree in education.
She currently teaches Honors Chemistry, College Prep Chemistry, and Honors Organic Chemistry. She helps to organize two local stream study field trips during the school year in conjunction with the Lancaster County Conservation District.
Miss Griffiths loves to learn and being a teacher gives her many opportunities to do so. She's been fortunate to have participated in the Governor's School for Science Teachers, the NOAA Teacher-at-Sea program and several science-related courses at Lebanon Valley College.
In her spare time she enjoys running on roads and trails, gardening, playing the piano, and conquering minor fix-it projects on her house.
