Warwick School District is seeking qualified applicants for the following position effective May 2026:
Minimum Starting Salary: $87,534 (25-26 rate)
Classification: Act 93
Applicants must demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills; must be student-centered and committed to the education of youth through extra-curricular activities; and must possess problem-solving and conflict resolution skills and the ability to deal courteously and tactfully with all stakeholders. A degree in education/teaching certification, or sports administration is required. Certifications from NIAAA in athletic administration are preferred. Previous experience in athletic administration, coaching, or school leadership is preferred. Valid PA Driver’s License required.
The Athletic Director is responsible for the overall leadership and coordination of the District’s athletic programs and extra-curricular activities that provide all Warwick students with worthwhile learning experiences. The Athletic Director is responsible for ensuring student safety and compliance with all federal, state, and PIAA regulations, including Title IX, concussion management, and risk management protocols. The position includes oversight of game and event administration, coordination of security and officials, supervision of coaches and facilities, monitoring of student academic eligibility, development of the athletic budget in coordination with District leadership, and alignment with booster organizations. The Athletic Director fosters a positive culture of sportsmanship, equity, and character development while supporting the academic and personal growth of student-athletes.
Medical examination, tuberculin test, federal and state criminal record checks, and child abuse history clearance are required prior to employment.
