In this introductory personal finance course, students learn basic principles of economics and the best practices for managing their own finances. Students learn core skills in creating budgets, making responsible choices about income and expenses, and exploring careers after high school. They will also gain a deeper understanding of capitalism and other systems so they can better understand their role in the economy and society. This class will allow students to understand personal money management skills that they can use during their high school career as well as after graduation.
