Steven Lin was appointed principal of John Beck Elementary School in July 2022. Previously, he had spent 4 years next door at Fort Zeller Elementary in Eastern Lebanon County School District. Mr. Lin began his career in 2005 as a school teacher in Chesapeake, Virginia. In 2013, he moved into school administration in Virginia Blue Ridge serving as an assistant principal and principal in Roanoke City Public Schools and Floyd County Public Schools.
Mr. Lin's educational background includes a B.S. in Elementary Education from th Penn State University (University Park, PA) College of Education's Professional Development School (PDS). He also holds a M.A. in Educational Leadership and Administration from the George Washington University (Foggy Bottom, Washington, D.C. / Oyster Point, Newport-News, VA).
Mr. Lin is a member of the National and PA Associations of Elementary School Principals. He also serves on the board of the Southern Region chapter of the state's affiliation with the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD)
Mr. Lin lives in Lititz with his wife, two sons, and daughter. He enjoys time with his family, exploring the local region, playing tennis, cooking, and picking on his banjo. He is grateful for the invitation to join the John Beck and Warwick communities and looks forward to continuing its tradition of excellence, student wellness, and local pride.
