Mr. Maza grew up in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania where he attended Upper Perkiomen High School. He graduated from Millersville University with a degree in Elementary Education and later received his Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Pennsylvania State University.
Mr. Maza has been a member of the Kissel Hill Elementary staff since 2006 and is in his eighth year in the Academic Learning Facilitator role. Prior to this position, he taught 3rd grade, 5th grade, and 6th grade. Mr. Maza also serves as the advisor for the Safety Patrol team, Student Council, and the Kissel Hill Kindness Warriors.
