Mrs. Craig is a reading specialist at Bonfield Elementary. Prior to this position, she served as a reading specialist in Ethiopia for three years. Mrs. Craig has also taught preschool, third grade, and fourth grade. In addition, she taught a writing course for teachers at McDaniel College for four years.
Mrs. Craig attended James Madison University for her bachelor’s degree in psychology and early childhood education. Later, she attended Millersville University and earned a master’s degree in Reading and Language Arts. Since then, she has taken courses through Penn State University, Millersville University, McDaniel College, and Shenandoah University.
Mrs. Craig is a member of the Keystone State Literacy Association and the International Literacy Association.
Some of Mrs. Craig’s passions include helping students to find books they like and helping them to feel successful as readers. She also loves helping students to develop as writers.
In her free time, Mrs. Craig enjoys reading, running, trying new recipes and spending time with her husband and three daughters.
