Biography

Hello! My name is Nikki Stump. I am the Warwick High School Librarian. This will be my eighth year as the Librarian and my sixth year as a Gifted Case Manager. This year marks my second year as a Color Guard Instructor for the Warwick Marching Band. I was a Lititz resident until 2019, but I currently live in Columbia with my husband Taylor, our daughter Hazel, and our two cats, Bellatrix and Narcissa.

As an educator, my favorite lessons to teach are research for any and all topics, Digital Citizenship, and book talks.

I love getting to help students locate quality and factual information across all platforms, websites, databases, books, etc.

Random Facts:

  • I graduated from Warwick in 2011
  • I was one of the last classes that went through the old Lititz Elementary and WMS buildings
  • In my 6th grade year at Bonfield, during Lititz Elementary demolition, I learned to ride a unicycle, I can still balance okay on one now... at least for a few minutes
  • I have 4 nephews, but many other kiddos call me "Aunt," including a Warwick Senior. This fact makes me feel a bit old sometimes...
  • My goal is to read 100 books, adult/young adult books, in one calendar year, in 2021 I finished 64 books.
  • I am OBSESSED with Harry Potter! In October of 2021, I had a Harry Potter-themed wedding.
  • I love having board game nights with my friends and family, Catan and Ticket to Ride are long-time favorites
  • My favorite book is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling.
