Mr. Jonathan Shoff is Director of Choirs at Warwick High School and Warwick Middle School. He also teaches music classes at the high school, and is vocal director for the Spring Musical.
Mr. Shoff began his teaching career in 2007. He has experience teaching vocal, instrumental, and general music with all age levels ranging from Pre-K through adult. He has been very active locally as a director, accompanist, and teacher, and has worked with Music For Everyone, the Mennonite Children's Choir of Lancaster, S.W.A.N., and numerous high schools and community theaters. Before joining Warwick in 2022, he taught in the School District of Lancaster.
He is thrilled to be teaching middle and high school chorus, because he credits his own high school choir director as the person who most inspired him to pursue music education. Music is a fundamental part of what it means to be human, and he is passionate about fostering a love and enjoyment of music in students, audience members, and the community.
Mr. Shoff is a member of the National Association for Music Education, Pennsylvania Music Educators Association, Lancaster Lebanon Music Educators Association, and American Choral Directors Association. He lives in Lancaster with his wife and three children.
