I grew up in Pittsburgh and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Chemistry and then went on to obtain my teaching certificate and masters degree.
I currently teach Honors Chemistry, College Prep Chemistry, and Honors Organic Chemistry. I also help to organize two local water testing field trips during the school year in conjunction with the Lancaster County Conservation District.
I love to learn and being a teacher gives me many opportunities to do so. I've been fortunate to have participated in the Governor's School for Science Teachers, the NOAA Teacher-at-Sea program and several science-related courses at Lebanon Valley College.
In my spare time I enjoy running on roads and trails, gardening, playing the piano, and conquering minor fix-it projects on my house.
