I entered the field of education because I was inspired by many wonderful teachers during my student years and because I love books. During my college years, I tutored students in the writing lab and spent many hours shelving books at the Ezra Lehman Memorial Library. I began my career teaching eleventh and twelfth-grade English at Central Dauphin High School in Harrisburg. After four years, I happily accepted an English teaching position at Warwick High School in 2000. At Warwick, I've taught tenth and twelfth-grade English, journalism, drama, creative writing, speech, and gifted classes. Recently, my focus has been on teaching all levels of twelfth-grade English, speech, and gifted.
