Susan Shinn-Thomas started her Warwick career in August of 2011 as the Home and School Visitor/School Social Worker. She has worked as a Home and School Visitor/School Social Worker since 2008 in Lancaster county. Prior to working in Lancaster county, she worked as an out patient therapist and a school based therapist in Dauphin and Cumberland county Emotional Support classrooms. For 9 years at Warwick, Susan worked in all buildings in the district but now shares that responsibility with Natalie Strickler. Susan works with students and families at John Beck Elementary and Lititz Elementary and follows those students and their families up through graduations. Natalie works with student at JR Bonfield Elementary and Kissel Hill Elementary and follows those students and their families up through graduations.
Susan also serves as the Foster Care and Homeless Liaison for all buildings in Warwick School District and helps with resources, educational needs and making sure there are no barriers for students to receive their education. Please see Homeless Services under the Student Services tab.
