Recently, 24 Warwick High School students qualified for the 2019 LLMEA County Chorus festival, a record high for the district.
The following Warwick High School students qualified for the festival: Caleb Goss, Jonah Gibson, Maddie Grisbacher, Noah Johnson, Emma Walls, Lauren Epps, Andrew McCracken, Jacob Lingenfelter, Bryce Pfeiff, Derek Knudson, AJ Germaine, Hudson Jean, Nathan Knudson, Caleb Musser, Allyson Hayes, Alaina Fry, Katie Bender, Elise White, Abby Weiss, Kayla Bassiff, Bella Goss, Stella Newman, Amelia Fair and Heather Mitchell.
“After months of practice, 24 Warwick concert choir students once again showed that hard work brings success,” stated Deb Kline-Smith, music director at Warwick High School. The district is extremely proud to have that many students represented at the festival.
The LLMEA County Chorus festival will take place at Donegal High School on February 2nd, 2019, with Manheim Central High School serving as the host. The performance will be conducted by Dr. Anthony Leach, a professor of music education and the founder of Essence of Joy. Dr. Leach served as the conductor of the Penn State University Choir from 1994 to 2015, teaching both graduate and undergraduate courses in choral music education.
