Congratulations to Warwick High School Computer Science teacher, Mr. Jeff Wile, for receiving a grant from the Lancaster County School Retirees. This grant will assist with partial funding for Turing Tumbles, gear based pegboards that use marbles to give students an additional physical and hands-on experience that help develop skills in coding concepts.
“We received over 30 applicants and we like to look for uniqueness when selecting grant recipients,” stated Mr. John Bratton, President of Lancaster County School Retirees. “We were intrigued by this equipment and look for things that are out of the ordinary for classroom supplies.”
Mr. Wile teaches computer science and has a large group of students taking his classes each semester. The Turing Tumbles will certainly get a lot of use.
