I grew up in Lititz, and I currently live in Lancaster. I have three sons, Colin, Kyle, and Cameron.
In 1996, I graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I then began teaching at Kissel Hill in that same year and have been there ever since. I've taught 2nd-6th grades, but have spent most of my teaching career in 2nd and 4th grade. In my free time I love to hike, read, cook, golf, travel, and spend time with my family and friends. A goal of mine is to visit as many of our National Parks as I can and to travel across our country.
My favorite part about teaching is being able to have a positive impact on my students and the fabulous colleagues I have the opportunity to work with.
