My name is David Houseknecht (he/him) and I serve as the general music teacher at Lititz Elementary. I also direct the Lititz El' Chorus and Orff Ensemble, co-direct the musical, and instruct some instrumental lessons.
Since the start of my teaching career in 2011, I have enjoyed working with students to make musical experiences that are filled with purpose, joy, fellowship, and growth. I firmly believe every student is a musician; music is for everyone!
In my free time, I enjoy practicing the trombone, writing music, taking a walk, or planning pranks on fellow LE staff.
