Hello! I am Ms. Gutzler and I am very excited to make music with the students at John Beck. I will be the long term substitute from the beginning of the year until the end of January.
I recently graduated from West Chester University in May, where piano was my primary instrument. I also was drum major of the marching band and sang in various choirs. In my classroom, collaborative learning is very important to me, so you will find students working together to sing, play instruments, and move to the music together each day. Music is a powerful tool that can unite all people!
Outside of school, I love to read, go on runs, cook, and spend time with family and friends. You will also be able to find me attending various concerts throughout the year because I of course love to listen to music!
I am very excited for an amazing start to the year.
